Seriously innovative, Django and Python pioneering, rapidly growing and fun next generation web service based in London W1 and San Francisco. We have an immediate requirement for a Software Test Analyst / QA Engineer with Selenium experience at our client in Central London.
The Software Test Analyst / QA Engineer will be responsible for the following:
* Identifying and detailing requirements and use cases
* Development of appropriate and thorough test conditions, scripts, cycles, data requirements and determine the expected results
* You will also be responsible for the execution of scripts, documentation and analysis of results.
As a Tester, key responsibilities may include:
* Defining test cases and scenarios to prove functionality and subsequent execution of test cases during application and end to end testing
* Identifying code defects during execution and managing the defect through the defect management lifecycle
* Supporting the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements and investigation of defects
* Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications; providing user support
To take up the challenge of Software Test Analyst / QA Engineer in this fast-paced environment you will need:
* HTML / CSS / javascript: 4+ years
* Web app testing: 3+ years
* End to end application testing: 3+ years
* to be a Selenium expert! - Lots of experience with big automated test rigs
* You’ll be an avid online communicator: love Skype, webcam chatting and IM
* Must be a team player and strong communicator
* Must want to work in startup environment
The following is also VERY desirable and will give you the edge:
* XSLT
* Python / Django
